We held an annual Kickoff meeting for our customer-facing arm with leaders from across the globe. This was our opportunity to roll out the strategy for the coming year, key priorities, and our action plan for each area of the business. It was a three-day event, with a host of speakers, audience engagement, and breakout opportunities for our leaders to engage in working sessions.
After a successful meeting, we often saw a disconnect with leaders cascading key information down to their teams. We needed everyone on board – to not only understand our goals, but how they played a role in getting us there.
I started creating and distributing a “Meeting in a Box” to make it easier for leaders to digest, absorb, and do their part in cascading. The feedback from leaders was overwhelming, and it became a staple in our processes going forward.
